Overview
Ittiam Systems offers USBCam, a USB video camera system fine tuned for enterprise quality video communication systems. It is a ready-to-use solution designed for creating embedded and PC based video communication solutions and has already been licensed to top tier IP communication companies.
It comes in two flavours, USBCam-HD - an HD Class USB camera solution and USBCam-SD - an SD Class USB camera solution, for catering to a range of video communication applications. Ittiam’s USBCam is a low cost solution that in turn lowers the cost of the end equipment by off-loading compute-intensive encoding from the main processor.
Apart from delivering high quality and superior performance, USBCam comes with several user and maintainability features that help create rich and integrated video communication systems. It is also fully standards compliant and is interoperable with any standards-based video communication application. The system has already been integrated into several video over IP end products that are now available in the market.
