Overview
Ittiam's Media Streamer is a client-server solution on Texas Instruments'
TMS320DM642™ platform for streaming media applications for both unicast and multicast
scenarios. It is capable of handling both stored and live audio and video content across
wired and wireless LANs.

- Time-stamping at the server end and audio-video synchronization at the client end
- Withstands packet losses and automatically resynchronizes at the next key-frame
- Less than 1 second channel switching time
- Software designed to allow an application level control module (for user interface and network management) to be seamlessly plugged in
- Network Timestamp sent from server to client to synchronize the client-side clock to the server side
