Overview

Ittiam offers off-the-shelf software systems for targeted applications and end equipments. Examples are media player, voice and video telephony, DVR, NVR and access control systems. However, there is a critical need for custom media systems that leverage Ittiam technology but are specific to their unique end applications. Infrastructural, industrial and defence segments typically fall under this category along with emerging end equipments.

Ittiam effectively addresses this market need by adopting a software strategy similar to the ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) methodology which is well proven in the semiconductor industry. Ittiam offers custom solutions using its ASMS software suite - a media system framework along with pre-designed IPs for building large custom systems. Customers get the flexibility of designing the system to their specification and at the same time avails the benefit of ready IPs and framework that would have otherwise taken years to develop.

Ittiam's ASMS, with support for ultra low latency, is at the heart of mission critical, safety / security sensitive applications around the world.
