ASMS - Ultra Low-Latency Systems
Overview
Low-latency is an essential requirement for a fast emerging class of responsive multimedia applications.
Ittiam offers a suite of ultra low-latency systems for these latency sensitive applications. With an end-to-end
delay as low as 60 ms for High-Definition (HD) video, these systems can cater to a range of applications including
video conferencing, responsive surveillance, UAV navigation or other custom interactive applications.
Measured between the video signal capture and video signal display, these latencies are achieved on programmable
processors that provide flexibility in signal processing and application. The scalable and extensible media
system design helps in quick realization of custom latency-critical applications. Ittiam's deep expertise in
streaming technology along with its low-latency toolsets help custom applications achieve low-latency in the
presence of constraints created by the unique operations environment, without compromising on media-quality.
